Happy New Year 2026

January 09, 20262 min read

As we step into a new year, I want to begin with something simple, but sincere:thank you.

Thank you for reading, replying, sharing, and most importantly, thinking alongside me throughout 2025. This newsletter exists because you care deeply about your business, your people, and the legacy you’re building. I don’t take that trust lightly.

If 2025 taught us anything, it’s this:hard work alone is no longer enough. Markets are tighter. Talent is harder to retain. Margins are thinner. And for many owners, the business that once felt exciting now feels claustrophobic - restrictive instead of liberating.

My commitment to you in 2026 is clear:
This newsletter will continue to be areliable source of practical insight, not theory for theory’s sake. You’ll find ideas, frameworks, and techniques you can apply, whether you’re running a shop floor, a service business, a construction firm, or a growing professional practice.

But I also want to be transparent about something important.

While I often speak about challenges in one industry, such as operational chaos, owner bottlenecks, unclear accountability, missed execution, these problems are not industry-specific. They show up everywhere. Different uniforms, same patterns.

That’s why over the last year, my work has evolved into something more focused, more differentiated, and frankly, more effective.

My Category of One Focus

I don’t just “consult on operations.”
I help owners install aUnified Operating Systemfor their business—one that replaces stress, guesswork, and constant firefighting with clarity, discipline, and repeatable execution.

I call it theModern Management Operating System (MMOS), built on my Fall inLOVE With Your Business Again Model:

  • Leadership- Installing decision clarity, accountability, and confidence at every level

  • Operations- Designing processes that work without heroic effort

  • Volume- Drives customer trust and stable revenue through professionalism, transparency and a repeatable sales engine

  • Execution- Turning plans into consistent results, week after week

This system is intentionally industry-agnostic. The mechanics of leadership, structure, and execution don’t change just because the product does. When owners apply these principles, the results follow - regardless of what they build, sell, or service.

What You Can Expect in 2026

In the months ahead, this newsletter will:

  • Challenge common assumptions that keep owners stuck

  • Break down complex problems into usable frameworks

  • Share lessons from real businesses navigating real constraints

  • Help you think like a leader - not just an operator

My role is not to have all the answers. It’s to serve as asteady guide, helping you see what’s possible when your business runs with intention instead of inertia.

And if at any point you find yourself thinking,“This sounds like exactly what we’re dealing with…”- that’s not an accident. That’s an invitation.

Here’s to a year of clearer decisions, stronger leadership, and businesses that support your life, not consume it.

Thank you for being here.
I’m grateful to build 2026 with you.
